KS has their new patterns out. I love this blouse pattern with the front ties and sleeve details:
I really like this simple top below. I know one or two of the Big 4 Patterns (or was it New Look?) already has this style. I think it's really cute and I'm sure it can be made in less than an hour. I think this will work well for the typical hot & humid summer months we have in VA.

I can't wait to see what you do the top one. That tie adds a really interesting effect. On my last trip to JoAnn's, I picked up a Simplicity pattern very similar to the one on the bottom. Thought that would be a great summer style and that neckline begs for embellishing.
I made one similar to the bottom one and really like it. It is surprisingly flattering and comfortable to wear. Mind you mine was a (I think) McCalls pattern - and a dress- but the neckline was exactly the same.
