I love my gadgets. I am always carrying around some type of gadget with me. It could be my green iPod Nano (3rd gen), my Blackberry, or my PDA (Dell Axim).
When I am sewing, I usually will dock my iPod in my speaker system and listen to my tunes. I mostly listen to Amy Grant. Other days, it's John Tesh, Sheryl Crow or the Beatles.
I also have a portable DVD player. I love watching movies while I am sewing. Okay, how can I be watching and sewing at the same time? I really don't. I just listen and will stop to watch if something catches my attention.
I also carry tunes on my Blackberry. I'm still trying to figure out how to import a movie onto this gadget. I know, the screen is too small to watch anything. I sure could have used it when I was at the hospital last week for 5 hours.
Oh, DH bought me a new camera as a very, very early B-Day (coming up soon) present. For those of you who know me...I did the research for him. lol! I ended up with the Nikon D40. I love this camera. It's a joy to use. I have been using this camera since the middle of June and you can see my samples from my previous posts from mid-June to now. I'm still learning how to use this camera and the features. I also purchased a wireless remote, so I can take great pictures for my PR reviews. No need to run from my tripod anymore to get a good picture. And now you know why I smile so much in those pictures.
This new camera replaces my old Nikon 5700 that I've had for almost 6 years (and rolled over 9999 pictures). You want to hear something funny? The 5700 was the 2nd digital camera that I've rolled over 9999 pictures. So, yes...I've taken over 20k pictures! And you can be sure that it won't take me long to roll over the new D40!
So, I've shared with you my world of gadgets. Now, it's time to share yours. What are your favorite gadgets?

A girl after my OWN heart!! I too love gadgets lol. I just got a Blackberry Curve TODAY lol. I also love my IPOD and dock and don't even get me started on cameras and lenses lol
Gadgets! Don't really own many. I'm a camera girl and bought a new one this year--a Kodak Z712 IS to replace my Canon S1 IS that died after maybe 6000 pics?
Last November I bought a cheap MP3 player for when I go to the gym. Would you believe the darn thing stopped playing after about 3 weeks? I finally got it out of the package about 4 weeks ago (no idea why I waited so long to do it), loaded some songs and poof! It stopped working. DD#1 says, "You get what you pay for Mom!" Guess so.
Once my sewing business gets off the ground, maybe I'll get a Blackberry, PDA, or I-Phone.
the remote control for the camera is the best invention IMO - no more running back and forth, knocking over the tripod, tripping over the dog, amusing the neighbours who are looking over the fence at all the commotion! or is that just me? now I can get calm and serene photos for the blog...
I wouldn't even know what 1/2 of these thingies are if my DSS wasn't a "I want it!" gadget collector... As for the other 1/2 of you'all's lists, I'll have to ask Erik!!
Have FUN!!

Adrienne...you are going to love your Blackberry Curve. It rocks! I rank this phone as tops (best I've ever owned) and I get great reception. We'll save your camera and lens discussion for another day. lol!
Kristy...I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one tripping over my own tripod. The wireless remote has been a blessing. I can now spend more time taking creative shots without panting or sweating. lol!
